Trice joined Rockcliff as their Vice President of Land in June 2024. Prior to that, he served as Rockcliff’s Land Manager overseeing the development of their Haynesville assets in east Texas. Prior to joining Rockcliff, Trice served as a Land Advisor for SilverBow Resources working their Eagle Ford assets in McMullen and LaSalle counties, Texas. Trice served as Land Manager of Stephens Production Company from 2008 to 2017, concentrating on prospect generation in the onshore Texas Gulf Coast area.
Prior to his time at Stephens, Trice was a Senior Landman at The Houston Exploration Company from 2005 to 2008, as well as serving as a Staff Landman for CNG/Dominion E&P from 1997 to 2005. Trice began his career at Amoco Production Company, serving as a Land Negotiator from 1994 to 1997.
Trice graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Petroleum Land Management.
